The Bio
Corrine Allard, owner of Cattail Pond,
LLC helps people make their homes, lives and business work better by
making them more efficient. Her management, technical and analytical
experience coupled with home decorating and design talents provide the
foundation for her work as a Professional Organizer (or is she an Efficiency
Specialist?). Corrine believes organizing requires a skill set deeply
rooted in problem solving and analysis - being able to see how something
is today and how it could be made better.
Although Cattail Pond, LLC started up
in 2001, Corrine has been in business since 1996 when she started a basket party business while working full-time.
Having left
full-time employment for the entrepreneurial life, Cattail Pond is developing into
an outlet for her natural talent of identifying needs and creating
functional and economical solutions. Corrine provides services to
businesses as well as individuals and their homes.
Her education includes a B.S. degree from the
University of Wisconsin-Stout (magna cum laude - retail management and business) and a folder full of web design, software,
quality, sales, testing, project management and other certificates. Some
of her past job titles include: Project Manager (information
technology), Senior Business Analyst, Manager of Administrative Support,
Quality and Reporting, Team Leader Corporate Surveys, Senior Research
Analyst, Marketing Project
Analyst, Customer Service Representative, Assistant Buyer, Sales Area
Manager, Inventory Controller, Space Planning and Display Consultant,
Clerical and Secretary. Whew!
In her spare time,
(what's that?), Corrine conducts workshops on organizing and time
management and is a member of the
National Association of Professional Organizers. Corrine lives in
Franklin, WI, a suburb of Milwaukee, with her husband and daughter.
